When mold takes up residence in your home, it can pose health risks. Mold is often a sign of underlying moisture problems that can come from poor ventilation or drainage. For instance, a bathroom right beneath a poorly ventilated crawlspace can lead to moisture trapped in that space. Or, the way the land around your home is graded (the “pitch”) may cause water to run toward your basement.
Whatever the cause, mold poses a serious risk.
It’s not something you want to discover just as you’re about to sell your home. Yet, mold growth isn’t always obvious. Isaac technicians can visit you to assess the situation and tell you how likely it is that mold is developing in your space. In fact, we often make that determination in the midst of our free Healthy Home Assessment, if you’d like to schedule one.
If our technician sees reason to believe your home may have mold, Isaac will refer you to an independent inspector who will verify its presence.
