Healthy Home Assessment Process
- When scheduling your free Healthy Home Assessment, plan on a 1-2 hour visit.
- On the day of your assessment, Isaac’s Healthy Home Expert will perform a comprehensive whole-house inspection. We focus on four primary areas: health, safety, comfort, and efficiency. We will inspect your basement, living spaces and attic.
- We look for issues like poor ventilation, mold, insufficient insulation, as well as operation and efficiency of your HVAC system. We’ll measure your home against New York State home performance standards to determine necessary improvements to recommend.
- Isaac’s energy consultant will take the information collected from the inspection and follow up with a comprehensive, customized report. Your report provides a prioritized list of recommendations for consideration. While some clients will use the report as a game plan for the future, many will want to make high priority improvements right away.
- If you choose to act on specific recommendations, your energy consultant will handle design, ordering, scheduling, finding rebates, and recommending possible financing.
- Our specialized, highly trained installation teams deliver the highest quality work. Improvements like mold remediation, ventilation, insulation, indoor air quality treatment, and HVAC equipment are performed by an Isaac professional.
- Once your project is complete, your energy consultant will stop in for one final visit. They will perform a Quality Assurance Visit to make sure any services and installations went as planned and answer any additional questions you may have.

Our free Healthy Home Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of your home that will audit energy efficiency, indoor air quality, insulation, as well as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. An energy consultant will conduct the assessment during a 1 to 2 hour scheduled visit. After the initial assessment, they will provide you with a customized follow-up report detailing any recommendations for improvement collected during the visit.
